Rating scale

Some of you may have wondered how I rate the books that I read, so here is the rating scale I made. Enjoy:


🤬-😡-🥺-😭-😠-😒-🙁-😑-🙂-😀-😁-😂-😇-🙃
Perfectly balanced, seven on each side, plus the 😑 in the middle. The 🤬 is obviously if the book was horrible, and 🙃 is obviously the best. I rate it on 3 things. Length, qualities, and well used words. I will give one face for each, and then I will round them up to the face they are closest too. For. Example, a book that is very short, 😡, good quality, 😁, and really good used words, 🙃. I will round the 🙃 with the 😁, and get 😂. But then I will round 😂 with 😡 and get 🙁. I guess it’s not the best book.

THANKSGIVING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!

Best break ever! So many things have happened and unfortunately I can’t cover everything, so here is a list:
1.snake shedded skin!
2.decided on name of snake. (Fluffy)
3. Double  night sleepover with cousins!
4. Help cook thanksgiving dinner
5. Help eat thanksgiving dinner. 😑
I am really happy with all of those things I did during this break, but I’m sad my great aunt marry couldn’t come to thanksgiving.

1st quarter reflection

This first quarter of the school year was really... something. Middle school is a whole knew experience, and with all knew classes and teachers, not even too me bring up the new students from different schools, its hard to stay focused, yet I’m still able too get great grades. I was able to get into a accelerated math class, and throughout all the classes, my grades were really good. With only 2 2s, and multiple 4s, I’m proud of myself. I get to see a lot of my friends from school plays, and choir concerts. So far it has been a pretty great school year. I got to participate in cross country and robotics. I learned about otzi the frozen mummy in social studies, we learned about glucose and food chains in science, reviewed plotting on graphs for math, wrote a personal narrative in ELA, we learned how to create many things in STEAM, and we played soccer and ultimate football in P.E.

Worst day of my life

There is a place where the sidewalk ends
And before the street begins,

In the poem Where the Sidewalk Ends, author Shel Silverstein is essentially suggesting that there is a magical place that children know of "where the sidewalk ends." That place represents childhood, its innocence, and its fundamentally different way of looking at the world. Or as I like to think of it, a poem that helps you see the good in the bad.

That’s why I think of this poem when I’m in a time of need, to see greatness in something like a disaster. To see happiness in something sad. Even in this blue and green world, covered up by smoke, we can find clouds in smoke, water in oil, and a garbage rain forest. The worst day of my life was when a fractured my elbow. A green cage wrapping around my pale arm. Now even though I have a healed arm, my heart and my brain will forever remain fractured. But when I think of that poem, that green cast is like every thing else, a natural thing, cursed from something not natural. And on my way, to finally be at peace. I will think.                            Were the sidewalk ends

It’s Friday!!!

I can’t believe it’s already Friday! And not just any Friday. My birthday was a few days ago, and I got just what I wanted... drumroll please...                   A SNAKE!!! I’m getting a snake, and I am the happiest boy in the world. I’m thinking of names, and maybe you can vote. The names are listed below:

Climate change is a big problem. Some may say it’s a small local struggle, but I think that this needs to end now. More frequent and intense drought, storms, heat waves, rising sea levels, melting glaciers and warming oceans can directly harm animals, destroy the places they live, and wreak havoc on people's livelihoods and communities. As climate change worsens, dangerous weather events are becoming more frequent or severe. People in Berwyn also litter look at this picture token in Berwyn.

This is the reason me and my school are going to a local park in Berwyn so we can go on a climate strike, say speeches, and show posters. Try your best to stop climate change.
